I am proud to be Headteacher at Rothwell Schools, where every day I get to help shape young lives and be part of a vibrant, caring community. For me, education is about far more than just academics—it’s about giving children the confidence, curiosity, and resilience they need to thrive. I’m especially passionate about the role sport and outdoor learning play in supporting children’s wellbeing and development. Whether it’s a muddy forest school session or a team game on the field, I believe these experiences help children grow in ways the classroom alone can’t. Outside of school, I love a challenge and spend my spare time training for and competing in triathlons. It’s a personal passion that keeps me grounded and reminds me of the importance of perseverance, balance, and setting goals—values I try to bring into school life every day.
