Our Head Teachers

  • Mrs Rachel Edkins - Falconers Hill Infant School & Ashby Fields Primary School

I don’t think it matters how old you are, the main thing in life is to always see yourself as a learner’. I have always been principled about learning. I am a learner, I love to learn. I am passionate about supporting children to develop the confidence and belief in themselves to achieve their dreams. I have an English Literature and Performing Arts degree, a Postgraduate Qualification in Education, a Master’s degree in Education and Special Educational Needs, as well as the NPQH.

  • Mrs Cassie Bodman Knight - Hall Meadow Primary School

During my 20+ years in education, I have had a range of experiences from teaching in a large town school, a rural school, a technical college, a zoo and in schools overseas. These experiences, alongside various qualifications gained during my career have continued to feed my passion for enabling everyone to access education and experiences to extend and create lifelong learners and responsible citizens.

  • Mrs Sarah Powell - Kettering Park Infants Academy

I have the privilege of being the head teacher at Kettering Park Infant Academy which is a three form entry infant school. Our school has a nurturing approach throughout, and we ensure that children are at the heart of everything we do. Our school is a place where we have high expectations, and achievement is encouraged and celebrated, whilst ensuring that learning is fun and engaging for all the children. We all care and look after each other and our resources; a place where positive behaviour is encouraged and support is given to ensure all children can achieve.

  • Mrs Ann Walker - Kettering Park Junior Academy

I have had the pleasure of being the Head Teacher at Kettering Park Junior Academy since January 2016, having previously worked in other local schools. Living and working in Kettering means that I have a vested interest in being part of our community where we consider all staff, children and their families to be part of one much larger KPJA family. Within that family we uphold the PARK values of pride, achievement, responsibility and kindness in all our daily interactions which makes for a happy working environment for everyone.

  • Mr Liam Cox - Kingsley Primary School

I am proud to be the Headteacher of Kingsley Primary School. Kingsley Primary is a school with high aspirations, and we base everything we do around our values of Respect, Aspiration, Integrity, Synergy and Endeavour (RAISE). My interests include sports, films and music. If you get me talking about football I may never stop!

  • Miss Beth Renshaw - Little Harrowden Primary School

I have worked in education since 2009 and became involved in school leadership in 2013 when I was appointed as a Deputy Headteacher at another school within the Trust. I am passionate about learning and education and, during my nine years of deputy headship, gained my NPQSL and NPQH qualifications. Little Harrowden is an aspirational and inclusive learning community where all children are empowered to reach their full potential. At the school, we strive to achieve excellence whilst placing kindness at the heart of everything we do.

  • Mrs Gail Gynn - St James Infant and Pre-School

I have had the pleasure of being in education for 32 years.  I continue to relish working to provide the best possible education for children. When I am not in school my family of 4 young adults and husband keep me busy – there is never a dull moment in my house!

  • Mrs Amie James - Standens Primary School

I have been teaching for 21 years and for 19 of those I have worked at Standens Barn in various roles, including class teacher, SENCo and Deputy Head teacher. It has been, and continues to be, an absolute pleasure to watch the school develop and thrive and to work alongside.
