Welcome from the CEO

One of my earliest school memories is of ‘playing schools’ at about the age of five. I can still picture myself copying my teacher, pretending to read to my friends, handing out jobs like milk and register monitor, and feeling the excitement of being part of something purposeful. It’s incredible how those early seeds stay with us. We can all remember the best teachers we had, and what made them so. The ones who helped us unlock tricky concepts, encouraged us to become the ‘most valuable player’, or gave us confidence to find our voice. I know that our children continue to find those teachers within our INMAT schools.
At INMAT, we remain dedicated to providing children with experiences that help them grow into strong, compassionate role models and positive members of society. Our well‑structured and diverse curriculum gives every child a broad foundation of knowledge and skills, enabling them to approach new learning with confidence, curiosity, and resilience. My belief remains unchanged: all children, regardless of the challenges they face, can learn, grow, and achieve. It is our responsibility to minimise barriers, nurture potential, and demonstrate through our actions that no obstacle is insurmountable.
As the world continues to evolve at pace, so too does INMAT. We stay open to change, challenge and innovation, ensuring our approaches remain relevant and effective. We continue to welcome new perspectives and ideas, always grounded in our unwavering commitment to doing what is best for children. The tried and tested has its place, but so does thoughtful innovation. By engaging with evidence, understanding impact, and working collaboratively with school leaders, partner organisations and other trusts, we position ourselves to make informed, meaningful decisions for our pupils and families.
In recent years, INMAT has grown not only in size, but in strength. Our schools have achieved successes we are proud of. From rising outcomes to strengthened leadership, to richer opportunities for children across our trust. This progress is the result of a shared commitment, a belief in community, and a collective drive to keep improving. Looking ahead, our future is one of continued growth, deeper collaboration, and a relentless focus on excellence for every child.
Whether you are one of our pupils, parents, carers, staff, volunteers, or someone looking to join or work with us, you can be assured of one thing: our commitment to children, their education, and their well‑being is absolute. At INMAT, we continue to work together to embody our values: inclusion, integrity, initiative, inspiration and involvement, so that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
