We are a newly formed Multi-Academy Trust based in Northamptonshire. We currently have four academies in our family of schools, this number is planned to soon rise to eleven.
The Inspire Multi-Academy Trust is newly established and is led by Chief Executive Officer, Gaynor Crute, a National Leader of Education. Gaynor was previously the Head Teacher of The Grange School, Daventry.
InMAT is fully supported by ITSA, a Teaching School Alliance, widely recognised throughout Northamptonshire for its excellent practice in Continuous Professional Development, Initial Teacher Training and School to School Support.
The Vision for Our InMAT/ Inspire Partnership
Our vision is to create a Multi Academy Trust of local schools which plays a significant part in shaping the future of education and provision for learning on a local and national scale. We believe we have the capacity, knowledge and commitment to transform the lives of children within and beyond our immediate school communities. In becoming a Multi Academy Trust, we will benefit from having increased autonomy to innovate, spread best practice and expertise and shape the future of the education landscape in terms of education policy and thinking.
We are also very committed to our local context, Northamptonshire Local Authority. Our vision would be to continue to operate as a partnership with the LA and other local partnerships of schools which share our values and ethos about learning. This, we believe provides us with greater capacity ensuring we remain outward facing. The quality of support and challenge from both the LA and local schools has been a critical factor in our schools improvement and we do not want to lose this.
Central to our vision is the concept that we are an inclusive learning community and achieve more when we learn collaboratively. By working with a range of strategic partners including:
- Local schools
- Schools beyond our immediate community
- Northamptonshire LA
- Other Teaching Schools
- Other multi academy trusts
- Professional bodies and organisations
We can create a self sustaining, self regulating improvement framework which continuously evolves through harnessing and utilising the very best practice about school improvement. We believe that this vision ensures a balance between robust external accountability with internal accountability.
The vision for our multi academy trust also includes providing high quality professional development and learning opportunities for schools both within the trust and also beyond. For this reason, the established Inspire Partnership will continue to operate as an organisation for professional development. This includes:
- Lesson Study
- Middle Leadership and Senior Leadership Programmes
- NQT Programme
- Recently Qualified Teacher
